Discovery School House accepts children ages 15 months to 5 years. All our programs feature safe, nurturing classrooms that offer age-appropriate learning and exploration.

In addition to high quality early childhood care and education, what really makes us unique is the inclusion of regular gymnastics classes. Held on location, no other child care facility in the area can offer this unique benefit for your child. Plus, in the summer, swim lessons are included as well.

Toddler Program

For children ages 15 months through 2 years 9 months.

Discovery School House provides a safe, secure, and nurturing environment where toddlers can explore and make new discoveries. Toddlers learn best through play, and our specialized program is designed to be structured but provide ample opportunities to learn, explore, and develop creativity.

As toddlers grow and develop curiosity, confidence, and friendships, our customized toddler programs help them grow and thrive.

Our teachers help to create daily routines and meaningful experiences that respond to your children’s strengths, interests, and needs. Our toddler curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through hands-on experiences.

Preschool Program

For children ages 2 years 9 months through 4 years.

Preschoolers have a natural curiosity of the world around them. As they explore they gain self-esteem, start to develop critical thinking, become natural problem solvers, and develop better physical coordination.

Our Preschool Program combines numerous elements of structured learning to develop and foster that natural curiosity. The program focuses on your child’s literacy, creativity, mathematics, basic sciences, physical wellness and social skills.

Our Preschool Program Features:

  • Quality Early Learning Education – Custom tailored for ages 2 years 9 months – 4 years
  • Gymnastics Classes & Free Play – Free for enrolled students, held at Giguere Gymnastics.
  • Focused on Cognitive, Social and Emotional Development
  • Summer Swim Lessons Included – Held at our shallow in-ground pool
  • Age-appropriate Group Activities, Toys, and Crafts – Activities that support their needs

Pre-Kindergarten Program

This program is focused on kindergarten preparedness. Your child will work on social development, refinement of gross motor skills, language and literacy growth, structured group activities, and support for individual creativity and decision making.

The Pre-K program provides ample opportunities for students to actively participate in group lessons and practice problem-solving, which fosters the skills needed for the transition into kindergarten.
